Do you take this iPhone, to have and to hold from this day forward in sickness and in health, in good times and bad, for richer or poorer, keeping your iPhone for as long as you live or until you can upgrade?

Yes, you read that right, that was a wedding ceremony between me and my phone! Just like a significant other the iPhone becomes part of you. It learns you and you learn it, and I’m sure if you tell SIRI you love her she will tell you she loves you (you can try). Your iPhone will probably be there for you even when your significant other won't be.

Let's face it we do a majority of our daily activities on our phones. We pay bills, make purchases, do our banking, we have conversation with others (through text mostly), we use GPS to get where we are going, check emails, the list goes on. We spend an average of 6 hours on our phones a day. Whether this is healthy or not, that's a topic for another day.

So, we need a phone that is going stand the test of time. One that can withstand being dropped, scratched, submerged in water or even thrown. Some people (like me) keep a phone for years. I finally upgraded my iPhone 6 Plus to the iPhone 11 Pro Max. I had the 6 Plus for around 6 ½ years, and it still worked great. The only reason I upgraded was the fact that my battery was dying and wouldn’t hold a charge for long.

The iPhone 11 Pro Max is a pretty impressive device. It comes with many great features, such as the triple camera configuration, face Id, and wireless charging but that's not all It also comes in 4 stunning colors Silver, Slate Gray, Gold and Midnight Green (the color I chose).

•. It has included the same 18W USB-C fast charger and USB-C Lightning cable that was included with the 2018 iPad Pro. That will charge your phone from 0 to 100 in about 30 minutes.

• Battery life is awesome! It gets 4 hours more than iPhone XS and iPhone 11 Pro Max can get up to 5 hours more than the XS Max.

• It’s water proof, so it can withstand being submerged in 1 meter of water for up to 30 minutes.

•. It has dark mode (which makes the screen black instead of white) for most social media platforms.

• It has Super Retina Display. which makes your screen "pop" and show beautiful images.

•. It has Face ID to unlock the phone and also works with most apps instead of prompting you for a password every time. It also has a setting that if your eyes are closed it won’t recognize your face. This is a good feature if someone tries to unlock it when your asleep.

• It now has swipe to type. With QuickPath, you can now swipe in the vague direction of keys, and your iPhone figures everything out.

•. You get 1 year of Apple TV free when you purchase an iPhone and you get Apple Music free for 3 months.

•. If you purchase thru Verizon you also get a year of Disney plus also.

• It has Super Retina Display. which makes your screen "pop" and show beautiful images.

• The camera is amazing! It has Triple camera array, 12MP wide angle camera, 12MP ultra wide camera, 12MP telephoto camera, 12 MP TrueDepth Camera, Redesigned Camera app, Night mode, Enhanced Smart HDR, Enhanced portrait mode, 4K60 Video on all four cameras, Audio Zoom, QuickTake video, Slow motion selfies, 4K60 cinematic video stabilization, and 60fps extended dynamic range.

• This is just a few of the things it can do.

As you can see the camera is very advanced. Don't worry I will be a doing a blog just about the camera and explain more about it.

Now for the bad.

• I miss my home button. This iPhone doesn't have a home button and I just about didn't purchase it because of that, but I am getting used to it.

•. Along with the home button being gone I don’t like taking screenshots. Its awkward to hold the power button and the volume up to take a screenshot

•. No aux/headphone jack. You have buy an adaptor to use wired headphones.

• It only came with wired headphones. You would think that something this advanced and expensive would have Air Pods.

As you can see my dislikes are sort of petty and miniscule, and the good outweighs the bad exponentially. I really do love the iPhone 11 Pro Max. So in regards to my wedding ceremony….. I do, I take this iPhone as my lawfully purchased devise to have and to hold (in my hand), In sickeness and in health (it even has a health app that holds your health info), For richer or poorer (it is on the pricey side) till death do we part or I upgrade!
